Afshan Masood

Dr. Afshan Masood joined the team at the Obesity Research Center from March, 2009. She is currently working as a researcher in the Obesity Research Center, College of Medicine, King Saud University since 2009-Present.Prior to joining ORC she was working as a Junior Consultant in the Department of Clinical Biochemistry, at reputed tertiary care hospital, in Hyderabad, India from August-Nov 2008.Dr. Afshan Masood did her MD training At Osmania Medical College, Hyderabad, India from 2005-2008 and passed at the top of her batch. She did her dissertation work on the Exocrine Function of the Pancreas in Type 1 and Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus.991.Dr Afshan workied as a Primary care physician in the PCC at National Guard hospitals in Jeddah from 2000-2004 and dealt with adult and pediatric outpatient cases both routine and emergency.She worked as a senior resident in the Department of Pediatrics and Neonatology at Apollo Hospitals, Hydearabad, India from 1997-2000.
